Hmmm...

I never can think of good titles for this blog of mine. I always open the blogger page and just sit here for minutes, thinking...okay what am I going to talk about...what should I title this....and after a few minutes I'm checking my email or facebook and the blog is long forgotten. So, no creative title today, just an update into our lives. I can't believe it's already been 2 weeks since I last posted. Summer is almost here. Andrew's last day of preschool is next Wednesday! Time sure flies. The school is having a little graduation ceremony and he is really excited about it. I'm not exactly sure what they are going to do for it, but I think they are practicing something because Andrew just says, "It's a surprise".

Chip is down to his last week of school for the semester. Yeah! Pray for him Friday afternoon when he takes his Latin exam (yes, Latin??? don't ask??) After that he's finished with the anguages, then on to the real stuff.
Audrey is doing well. I can't believe she will be 3 in a little over four weeks. Seriously!, where has this year gone? I often try and look back to remember how far she has come this last year to give myself some perspective of where we are at. Some days the simple things that we are working on with her seem so daunting and difficult, so it is good to remind myself of how much she has accomplished this year. And I guess as it is with any of your children it is hard to measure progress when you spend the majority of everyday with them, so looking back is good. We are starting to wind down all of her services (OT, speech, school) in June and will take a few weeks off in July. I think I need a break more than she does. She loves any therapy time she has. We had her meeting with the school district last week and everything went smoothly. They recommended that she attend a part-day special ed. preschool program next school year, which is what I was hoping for, so that was good. We love the school she is in now, but I think we are going to give the school district's program a try. She will start at the end of July like Andrew. We are still waiting to find out exactly which school, but hoping that it will be at Andrew's elementary school. That would be nice to have them under the same roof.
Sadly, I don't have any new pics, except a few of Andrew playing soccer. We enrolled him in an 8 week soccer class this summer. He has only went once so far and really likes it. I'll get the camera out today and get some new pics of them on here soon. Take Care!
