Is there anyone still there??? Yes, I know I haven't updated this blog in...well...too long to count, so I know I'm taking a chance that no one is still out there checking to see if the Summeys are still alive. Yes, we are here and we are doing well. The last four months have been busy for us. We traveled to FL for Christmas and had a wonderful time. 
Audrey and I visited a children's museum were she had a fun time exploring.
January and February were very cold and we had snow a few times. 
Andrew got to see his first State basketball game.

And finally Spring arrived. Can I just tell you how much I just love Spring around here? The weather has been just wonderful and we are trying to enjoy every moment of it. There is just something about not having to hear the hum of the a/c going nonstop that makes me happy.
Andrew celebrated 100 days of Kindergarten!
We celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday with green eggs and ham for dinner!

We spent a few weeks in April back in Florida visiting with family and friends where Andrew finally got to try out that new fishing pole and we went to the beach.
Thanks to our dear friends who call this place (in the background) home, for letting us enjoy their little slice of paradise a few times while we were in town. The kids loved playing in the water, but it was still cold. They jumped in the waves and played in the sand until they were exhausted.
With ten dollars of new beach toys I thought were had more than enough to play with. Who knew that my mom's plastic Subway drinking cup would be the most fought after item. I'm not kidding...they both could have cared less about the sand toys they picked out and argued over who got to use the cup the most. Audrey enjoyed scooping up sand from under the water and dumping it back up on the dry beach. I think it was her own little "beach restoration project".
And now the count down to summer begins...but we are in no hurry. Enjoy the rest of your spring!

Glad you are back to the blogging world! Spring is my favorite time too...we get to emerge from our homes to enjoy the warm weather after a long cold winter! Love the pics, the kids are getting so BIG!

Amanda- we were JUST talking about you and wondering what you were up to so we thought we would check the blog. What fate that you updated it today!!! We miss you so much and are so glad that you and your family are doing well in NC. Deanne looks great and Michael is wonderful. We really miss you!
